Tail lifts, doors, and internal securing

The rear configuration and internal layout are crucial for loading and unloading efficiency. Pay attention to the following specifications in our vehicle listings:

• Tail Lifts: Many of our box trailers used for distribution are equipped with a hydraulic tail lift (slider or cantilever style) from brands like Dhollandia, Bär, or MBB Palfinger. We test the operation of these lifts upon intake.
• Rear Doors vs. Roller Shutters: Most trailers feature standard double barn doors. However, for tight city distribution or courier networks, we regularly stock trailers equipped with aluminum roller shutter doors.
• Cargo Securing: Look for internal lashing rails (tie-down tracks). Many of our trailers feature multiple rows of galvanized rails integrated into the side walls to secure pallets and rolling cages securely.

Axle configurations and brands

The chassis underneath the box determines the maintenance costs and export value. Almost all our standard 3-axle box trailers are equipped with full air suspension.

• SAF Axles: Often equipped with disc brakes. This is the European standard for highway transport, offering excellent braking performance and low weight.
• BPW Axles: Known for extreme durability. BPW axles, especially those with drum brakes, are highly sought after for heavy-duty work or export to regions with poor road conditions, like Africa or the Middle East.
