The price of a used MAN tractor depends on model, year of manufacture, mileage and equipment. An older MAN TGA or TGS with higher mileage is available from around €10,000. A young used MAN TGX in good condition is usually between €30,000 and €70,000 or more.

The MAN TGX is the heavier model, primarily designed for national and international long-distance transport with semi-trailer. The MAN TGS is more versatile and suitable for distribution, construction logistics and heavier terrain.

The TGS is available in more axle configurations, including 6x4, making it usable for applications outside the standard transport route. For pure long-haul road transport, the TGX is the most common choice.

MAN tractors are known for their long service life. A well-maintained TGX or TGS will reach 1 to 1.5 million kilometers without any problems. The maintenance history is at least as important as the mileage itself. At Hesselink Trucks every vehicle is technically checked in our own workshop upon arrival, so you know what you are buying.

MAN TGX

The MAN TGX is the flagship model of the brand and the most common MAN tractor unit in our stock. It is particularly suited for national and international long distance transport. Popular versions include the TGX 18.460, TGX 18.480 and TGX 18.510, available in 4x2 and 6x2 axle configuration and equipped with the MAN TipMatic automatic gearbox and MAN EfficientCruise. Cab options range from the compact XL to the spacious XXL sleeper cab for international routes.

MAN TGS

The MAN TGS is the more versatile choice for distribution, heavy transport and use on difficult terrain. Available in 4x2, 6x2 and 6x4 axle configurations, making it suitable for applications beyond standard transport routes. Popular models include the TGS 18.440 and TGS 26.440. A solid option if flexibility in use is more important than long distance driving comfort.

MAN TGA

The MAN TGA is the predecessor of the TGX and TGS and continues to be traded as a used vehicle. Less modern than the current generation, but with good maintenance still deployable for years and available at a sharper price. Is the TGA not currently in stock?
