What to check before you buy

At Hesselink Trucks we inspect every vehicle in our own workshop. On the vehicle page you will find all features and technical data such as operating hours or tyre pressure. Nevertheless, when buying a used semi-trailer we recommend that you always check the following points carefully:

• Axles & brakes: wear, air system, ABS/EBS, brake test and an even running pattern.
• Chassis & body: cracks, repair points, corrosion, straight tracking and stability.
• Floor & load area: sagging, damage, moisture, tightness/sealing (depending on the body type).
• Tyres: even wear as an indication of axle and alignment condition.
• Documents: registration papers and a traceable history make operation and resale easier.
