Volvo FH and FM tractor units

Our Volvo stock primarily consists of FH and FM tractor units in Euro 5 and Euro 6 specification. The Volvo FH is the long-distance flagship, available from 420 hp up to 540 hp, with the Globetrotter and Globetrotter XL cabins designed for drivers spending extended time on the road. The I-Shift automated gearbox and I-See predictive cruise control are standard features on most recent FH models and contribute to lower fuel consumption over long hauls.

The Volvo FM offers a more compact alternative suited to regional transport, distribution and operations where manoeuvrability matters as much as highway performance. With engine options from 330 hp to 500 hp and a lower entry step than the FH, the FM is a popular choice for mixed urban and national transport cycles.

Both models are available as 4x2 and 6x2 configurations. Low Deck versions of the FH are also available for high-volume transport in combination with mega trailers.

What does a used Volvo tractor unit cost?

Prices on the used market vary considerably depending on model, year, mileage and specification. As a general indication, a used Volvo FH from 2016 to 2018 typically ranges from around €15,000 to €30,000. A more recent FH from 2020 to 2022 with lower mileage generally falls between €30,000 and €55,000. Volvo FM models tend to sit slightly below FH pricing for comparable years.
